In Samastipur, criminals entered the teacher’s house and murdered her. The criminals had come to kill his father-in-law. But, the daughter-in-law got shot. As soon as she was shot, she fell on the ground. By the time his family took him to the hospital, he had died. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. The incident took place early Tuesday morning in Khokshaha of ward number 4 of Ajnaul Panchayat of Dalsinghsarai police station area. Here, there is anger among the people after the incident. People demonstrated fiercely demanding the arrest of the killer. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The police assured the people of the arrest of the killer and started investigation. The deceased teacher has been identified as Manisha Kumari (24), wife of Avnish Kumar Sah of Khokshaha.

After the incident, Naresh Sah, father-in-law of the deceased teacher, told that he was sleeping in the house. Around 4 o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, people in number of six came and said, Naresh bhaiya hai, open the gate. As soon as I opened the gate, I saw that one had a weapon in his hand. Seeing this I ran towards the terrace. My wife Sunaina also remained silent downstairs. The criminals came running after me on the terrace. Hearing the noise, my son Avnish and daughter-in-law opened the door of the room. As soon as I entered the room, the criminals opened fire on my son. My son sat down and his daughter-in-law Manisha, who was standing behind him, got shot in the head.
An application was also filed in the police station regarding land dispute.
Naresh Sah told that the criminals fled after the incident. Naresh Sah told that he had a land dispute going on. Regarding this, I had applied to the police station on 20th December. But, no hearing took place. Due to this dispute this incident has been carried out. Naresh Sah appealed to the police for justice. In the case, DSP Vivek Kumar Sharma along with police station incharge Rakesh Kumar Ranjan reached the spot and started investigation. Angered by the incident, people were adamant on picking up the dead body only after the arrival of the senior officer along with the SP.
